“People come in to your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. It’s up to you to figure out which one.” ~Senica Evans
Have you ever pondered the question; ’Why was he or she brought into your life’? I know I have and oftentimes got a headache trying to figure it out. Then I realized two things; 1 – there are no coincidences and 2 – every person that crosses your path is serving a specific purpose in your life and you to theirs. The world revolves on the relationships we form with each other. The hurts and disappointments of others are building blocks to strengthen our own character and future relationships. With that being said, we need not take it to heart when a person is removed from our life. Just as someone is placed in our life for a reason, they are also removed for a reason. I say cherish the reason and relish in the fact that everything is happening for the betterment of YOU. Don’t focus on the negative. Sure it hurts when a person whom we thought was meant to be in our life for a lifetime is removed only after a season. But their season was up and keeping them past their season is akin to drinking milk that remained in the fridge long after the expiration date. SOUR! All you are doing is causing yourself a greater deal of hurt, pain, and anguish. Let’s learn to celebrate the people who come into our lives but also celebrate their departure as it only means you are progressing in life. Whatever the reason, however long the season, simply brings you closer to the ONE that lasts a lifetime. That ONE makes all the other reasons and seasons worthwhile.
Who are you holding on to whose reason or season has passed?
